Fleet Maintenance Division

The Public Works Fleet Maintenance Division is responsible for keeping the Town’s vehicles and equipment in safe operating condition. The Division maintains the Town’s fleet of 150 vehicles which includes police marked and unmarked vehicles, boats, loaders, snow blowers, light and heavy-duty trucks and trailers as well as smaller passenger vehicles. The Division is also responsible for purchasing new and replacement equipment and parts as per the Town’s Fleet Replacement Plan.

Year-round road maintenance is kept possible and efficient by our Fleet Maintenance Division who coordinate the mechanical repair, preventative maintenance work, and overhaul of heavy and light equipment.

Personnel

Fleet personnel consists of the Director of Public Works, the Fleet/Facilities/Trails Manager, one Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, one Senior Equipment Mechanic, three Equipment Mechanic II’s, one Geographic Information Systems Technician, and one Administrative Technician. These personnel are responsible for maintaining and upkeeping all Town vehicles year-round.
