Silver Creek Estates

The Planning Commission reviewed the Silver Creek project at its regularly scheduled meeting on May 24, 2024. The Commissioners voiced concerns about safety, parking, snow storage and a lack of community amenities. The applicant team discussed removing a building and adding a third story to two of the buildings, thus providing additional space on the site to address the Commissioners’ concerns. The review was continued to August to allow the applicant to redesign.

The applicant team submitted revised plans for staff review on July 3, 2024- The Silver Creek Apartments Draft Plan. 

Changes to the Silver Creek project include:

  • Removal of Building (Building 8 on previous submittal), Buildings 1 and 3 increase to three stories, density bonus request to increase maximum height allowed in RM (Residential Multi-family) zone district.
  • Increase in onsite snow storage - from 7,673 sf to 10,570 sf
  • Increase in community amenities – addition of two picnic bench seating areas and a half bocce court
  • An additional 1,721 sf of undeveloped area
  • Increase in Parking from 72 spaces to 76 spaces

The Planning Division has received an application to construct a 40-unit multi-family housing project located on Winter Creek Loop - No address Assigned (APN 019-820-001-000). Ten two-story apartment buildings with a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom units are proposed.
